In 2024, an Egyptian client visited the DAPU factory in China and sought to purchase a fully automated steel mesh production line. The client, a local steel processor with its factory, was looking to produce reinforcing mesh and needed equipment.
Since this was their first time importing equipment, they were extremely cautious. After receiving quotations from several Chinese mesh welding machine manufacturers, they decided to come to China for an on-site inspection.

1. A fully automated production line was required to save labor costs.

1. Fully Automatic Steel Mesh Production Line

The DAPU rebar mesh welding machine utilizes European welding technology, using pneumatic welding instead of traditional resistance welding. Japanese SMC cylinders control chromium-zirconium-copper electrodes for welding. This not only delivers fast welding speeds but also consistent welding pressure, resulting in a smooth and secure mesh. This is a popular new welding technology among mesh welding machines.

In addition, the equipment utilizes exclusively internationally renowned electronic components, including Siemens motors, PLCs, Panasonic servo motors, and Schneider Electric. These components are highly durable and can be purchased globally.
The entire production line utilizes PLC control, with parameters set on a touchscreen display and user-friendly human-machine interaction for easy operation.
This fully automatic rebar mesh production line includes a wire feed trolley, a horizontal wire blanking hopper, a welding system, a mesh catching system, a sheet turning system, an automatic mesh drop system, and a transport system.

2. Ribbed Rebar Machine

The DAPU ribbed rebar machine uses cold drawing technology to roll ribs onto round rebar, creating three-rib rebar. Most construction mesh manufacturers use ribbed rebar for welding, especially with three ribs, to increase the friction of the mesh.
The DAPU ribbed rebar production line includes a cannon-style pay-off stand, wire feeder, rust remover, lubricator, reducer, rib rolling mill, and spool take-up.
This equipment uses a PLC control system and operates at speeds of 120-180 m/min. The rib rolling die is made of alloy and can accommodate three to four interchangeable grooves. Some customers prefer to have their logos printed on the rebar, and custom dies with logos can also be provided.

3. 4-12mm Wire Straightening and Cutting Machine

A 4-12mm wire straightening and cutting machine, as an accessory to the mesh welding machine, is used to straighten and cut three-rib rebar to length. Based on the requirements of our Egyptian customer, two straightening machines were required to cut the rebar for both horizontal and vertical welding.

The Egyptian customer was very interested in DAPU’s solution. After observing the equipment in operation at the DAPU factory, they determined it was exactly the complete set they were looking for. Next, we discussed after-sales service, promising the following:
1. After the equipment is completed, the Egyptian customer will come to China for inspection and trial operation. The equipment will only be shipped after technicians from both sides confirm the finished product specifications and equipment quality.
2. DAPU will dispatch engineers to the Egyptian customer’s factory to perform installation and commissioning, and provide free training to workshop personnel to enable them to independently operate the equipment and troubleshoot any issues.
3. All equipment comes with a one-year warranty, with rapid response service for spare parts.
