The DAPU straight-line wire drawing production line is a fully automatic drawing equipment for reducing the diameter of metal wires. It typically includes: an upper-drawing wire feeding frame, a rust removal machine, a wire drawing machine, and a take-up machine (elephant trunk type take-up machine or I-beam type take-up machine), etc. Each part has its unique function and works together to achieve efficient production.

1. Wire feeding system:

The top-pull-out wire feeding rack comprises a drive motor, wire feeding rack, guiding device, tension control system, and other components. It can effectively control the tension of the wire, ensuring its smooth entry into the production line.

2. Rust removal machine:

Employs multiple wear-resistant alloy rollers to remove oxide scale, rust, and other impurities from the wire surface, ensuring a clean finish. Enclosed design protects the environment.

3. Wire drawing process:

The wire drawing plant’s main function is to gradually draw and lengthen the metal wire through the mold, and improve the strength and surface smoothness of the wire.

Advantages:

• The wire drawing equipment contains up to 12 drawing blocks, which are the core equipment of the straight-line wire drawing production line. The number of blocks depends on the wire diameter of the inlet and outlet lines. and the drawing speed is a maximum of 20m/second.

4. Rib rolling device(Options):

A rib-rolling device can be added to a straight-line wire drawing machine to roll three ribs onto the surface of the drawn metal wire, which can improve the tensile strength and tensile capacity of the wire. The rolling rollers are made of alloy material, which is wear-resistant, and the rib rolling is precise and stable.

5. Take-up device:

Both the elephant trunk-type take-up machine and the I-beam reel take-up machine in straight-line wire drawing machines are used to wind drawn metal wire into coils for easy storage and transportation.

How to choose the take-up device?

● If you require high-quality finished wire, have stringent requirements for wire surface finish, and your production speed is not particularly high, then the elephant trunk-type take-up machine will be a better choice.

● If your production environment requires high output and high speed, and your requirements for wire surface quality are relatively low, then the I-beam reel take-up machine may be more suitable for your needs.
